The Sports Centre is now open to the public all year round, at evening and at weekends.
We have facilities for all types of sports which includes a gymnasium, a large sports hall, football and rugby pitches, an all weather pitch (floodlit) and floodlit netball courts. We have also a running track.
A brand NEW Fitness Suite is coming shortly for individuals to use. You can find more details and view all the facilities on this website.
There are currently several organised classes at the Sports Centre and this is expected to grow. All classes and fitness sessions will be posted on the website as they occur. So make sure you put this website in your favourites and keep an eye on whats coming up for you, your family and your team.
We charge hourly
rates for usage but we have kept the prices to a minimum whilst also considering our running costs. Prices can be found on the website.
You will find booking forms and a contact form on this website and also details of all the groups that currently use the centre.

Rugby League is very popular at Hathershaw Sports centre. Both Saddleworth Rangers and Fitton Hill Bull Dogs use the facilities for training. Oldham Rugby Union also use the sports hall ocassionally. |

New Fitness Suite for Sports Centre

Hathershaw Sports Centre has a new fitness suite, and, as you can see from the video on the left, it is brimming with machinery to get the users fit.
The Cardio-Vascular machines are of the latest technology and include a Reclining bike, two treadmills, synchro, two rowing machines, small to medium free weights and a wonderful upper-body machine for the brave. |
